Supporting hospice care for children and adults across Sussex

Night to Remember has been a much-loved event supporting St Barnabas House for many years.

This year, we’re delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to take part in this event in support of all hospices in Southern Hospice Group: Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice, Martlets in Hove and St Barnabas House in Worthing.

How Night to Remember supports our hospices

Each year, our care across St Barnabas House, Chestnut Tree House and Martlets costs around £34 million.

We rely on the generosity of our community to keep providing our vital care services. Your fundraising will directly support our care so that we can continue to offer our services to adults, children and young people across Sussex and South East Hampshire.

Derrick’s story

When Derrick was diagnosed with incurable cancer, one of our hospices became a sanctuary for his final week.

Because of supporters like you, his family could cherish their last week together – holding hands, sharing stories, and saying goodbye in peace.

Millie’s story

At 14, Millie and her family received some devastating news – Millie had a brain tumour. The cancer treatment was tough, but at Chestnut Tree House she was able to be a teenager again rather than a patient.

With the help of supporters like you, Millie and her family had the chance to make precious memories together, and Millie could face the end of her life on her own terms – with extraordinary courage.
